The company will exhibit its technologies that stimulate sensorial experiences, reduce the impact on the environment and guarantee sophistication to the international market.
On the 10th and 11th of May, the Luxe Pack New York takes place. The event that brings together the largest premium packaging manufacturers is sought after by the major luxury brands in the USA. In this edition, the fair is celebrating 20 years of connecting the luxury packaging industry. And Wheaton, one of the largest installations in the world specialized in the manufacture of glass packaging, will be present to present solutions, with its sustainable, innovative and modern highlights for the North American market.
“Our intention is to bring excellence to the international perfumery and cosmetics market, offering more and more solutions in exclusive glass packaging, promoting packaging that provide sensory experiences to consumers, combined with elegance and technologies, while prioritizing sustainability”, he emphasizes. Ricardo Lopes – Commercial and Marketing Director.
The company is a pioneer in the world glass industry to use biomethane as a renewable energy source, replacing part of natural gas. With the investment in renewable energy sources, it will save the emission of approximately 7,000 tons of CO² in one year.
Following the trends of the consumer market to look for products that stimulate the senses and are a differential, the scented serigraphy will be displayed at the event. The technology has fragrance microcapsules in the screen-printed art on the bottle, making it possible to smell it without having to open it.
Seeking to elevate even more the concept of luxury and packaging design, Wheaton will present the Inner Color, an internal painting technology of the glass packaging that explores the thickness of the walls, depth of the glass and the bottom of the bottle. And all this can be combined with other decoration techniques, such as hot-stamping, digital printing and more. Becoming a sophisticated way to protect content and attract customers.
Visitors will also be able to discover the Ecoglass line, designed to promote the circular economy. The line’s packages have characteristics such as a light bottle that receives less vitreous mass than a traditional bottle. This eco-friendly project involves reducing water and energy consumption, in addition to reducing CO2 emissions by more than 30%. The threaded end allows the product to be refilled, that is, it can be opened easily and refilled with more fragrance through a refill bottle. Furthermore, this termination facilitates the separation of the valve and the glass bottle, different materials that, when separated, offer greater safety and agility to recycling cooperatives.
The central objective is to protect the environment and encourage the conscious use of packaging.
