On May 8th and 9th, 2025, Wheaton will be present at LuxePack New York, an international trade show of reference in high quality packaging and innovative design. Participating for the third consecutive year, the company stands out by presenting solutions that combine sophistication, technology and sustainability, meeting the growing needs of the perfumery and cosmetics industry. Wheaton will be present at booth D09, where it will be possible to check out its newest releases in innovation and design.
In 2024, the show had more than 5,300 participants and, for this edition, at the Javits Center, an even more vibrant and expansive meeting is expected. In addition to presenting the main innovations and technologies of the packaging market, the event is an opportunity to build relationships between visitors and exhibitors, strengthening the network of contacts and warming up business.
Innovations in decoration: sophistication and exclusivity
Wheaton, recognized for its experience of more than a century in the production of glass packaging, brings to the fair an extensive portfolio of techniques that add aesthetic and sensory value to packaging, allowing customizations in line with global design trends. The commitment to innovative solutions is reflected in the constant evolution of these finishes, ensuring that each bottle becomes a competitive differentiator for customers.
The great novelties in decoration for this edition include the new effects applied to the inner color process:
- Pearly Inner color: which gives a sophisticated and shimmering shine to the glass;
- Prismatic Inner color: which changes the shade according to the viewing angle, creating a dynamic and surprising effect;
- Metallic Inner color: which adds a premium finish with intense shine.
In addition to these innovations, the company also presents the Confetti Painting, a modern and vibrant technique that provides a playful and differentiated look, and Marble Effect Painting, which reproduces the sophistication of natural stones with a touch of exclusivity.
Combining tradition and modernity, the company reaffirms its position as a strategic partner for brands seeking high-end packaging, expanding the variety of techniques, effects and finishes to develop exclusive projects.
New standard bottles inspire with innovative design
Wheaton presents in this edition a selection of new standard bottles that translate the harmony between form, function and visual identity. The Harmony Line, represented by the new 250ml hexagonal bottle (LB-0588-S), stands out for its well-defined geometry and carefully designed ergonomics, providing a differentiated tactile experience of well-being that elevates the environment. Its faceted design captures and reflects light, creating a play of light and reflection that values packaging and makes it ideal for fragrances associated with lightness and balance sensations in the Home Care market.
The Inspiration line has three new bottles that maintain the line’s cohesive and sophisticated visual identity. The MB-1540-SN model features a cylindrical shape of smooth lines, standing out for the elegance and sophisticated finish of the push-up bottom, a design that requires advanced techniques to ensure the precise distribution of the glass, in harmony with the depth of the bottom, resulting in a bottle that combines aesthetic beauty and functionality. Its curvature enhances the refraction and natural luster of the glass, creating a remarkable visual impact, with a unique identity, ideal for sophisticated products.
Complementing the line, the LB-0521-N1 is inspired by the cutting of precious stones, bringing a faceted design that captures the essence of luxury. With well-defined cuts in its creation, there is a perception of exclusivity, making packaging a differentiated option for premium fragrances that seek to establish sensory connections with the consumer.
Finally, with a capacity of 75 ml, the MB-1272-N1 has a rectangular base with a modern and balanced look. Made of high-quality clear glass, its finish reflects light gently, enhancing the aesthetics of the material. The thick base ensures stability, while the curved detail at the bottom adds a contemporary touch.
The Surprise Line consists of three new packages, suitable for different segments, a new collection developed to provide a true ritual of beauty and well-being. The versatility of the new 30ml (SB-1773-S) and 50ml (MB-1610-S) bottles makes them ideal for the skin care, hair care and perfumery markets, with screw termination that makes it easy to refill the contents or separate the components for recycling. The 100ml MB-1580-N1N bottle, on the other hand, has a versatile and timeless shape, with a square base and rounded corners that fit naturally in the hand, facilitating the handling and experience of using the fragrance.
Continuous commitment to sustainability
With a legacy of innovation and commitment to sustainability, Wheaton continues to invest in the optimization of processes and materials that promote a cleaner and more efficient production cycle. Since 2023, 100% of all electricity consumed in the São Bernardo do Campo industrial park comes from a certified renewable water source, zeroing the company’s scope 2 emissions.
The Ecoglass Line reinforces this commitment with bottles developed to maximize the sustainable benefits of glass in the circular economy. The commitment to refill is one of the company’s pillars, encouraging conscious consumption and waste reduction. One of the highlights is the 200ml refill bottle (MB-1551-S), manufactured with 20% less glassy mass than conventional models, resulting in lower energy consumption and an approximate 15% reduction in CO2 emissions. Its screw termination facilitates refilling and promotes the reuse of the packaging.
“Participating in LuxePack is always a valuable opportunity for us to show how innovation and sustainability can go together. Our commitment goes beyond design, we seek to develop packaging that tells stories, arouses emotions and elevates the consumer experience with brands”, says Ricardo Lopes, Commercial and Marketing Director of Wheaton Group.
Wheaton reinforces its position as a global reference in glass packaging, bringing to the market products and solutions that combine technology, sustainability and sophistication. “Each bottle we develop translates this search for excellence, without giving up sustainability,” concludes Ricardo Lopes.
