Since 2023, our electricity has been 100% sourced from certified hydroelectric power.

02. CULLET

Every Wheaton bottle contains at least 20% internal glass cullet, originating from our own production process. It is reused to produce new packaging, reducing the extraction of raw materials from nature.

03. Post-Consumer Recycled Glass

Flint glass (transparent) uses post-consumer recycled glass (PCR). We produce flint glass packaging with 15% PCR and amber glass with around 40% PCR.

04. LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN

The design of lightweight bottles involves lower water and energy consumption, as well as reduced CO₂ emissions.

05. SCREW FINISH

Refillable bottles can be reused multiple times. This sustainable finish facilitates and speeds up the separation of materials in the recycling process.

06. WATER-BASED INKS

Colors, textures, effects, and innovations to differentiate products without the use of solvents, with a lower environmental impact than traditional solvent-based inks.

07. CARDBOARD PACKAGING | Special Projects

The cardboard boxes used for transportation are 100% recyclable and can be reused through the development of exclusive projects for returnable boxes. This significantly reduces waste disposal and environmental impact. Commitment to sustainability beyond glass.
